Artista transdisciplinar, filhe da serpente, criadore de macumbarias cênicas e outras espirais. Tieta Macau é interessade em processos de criação, produção cênica afroreferenciada, poéticas populares e afrodiaspórica, historiografia da arte, escrita em dança entre outras encruzas. Ume das criadores do Coletivo DiBando, atua em colaboração com vários artistas e grupos entre o Maranhão , Ceará e Bahia como Grupo Afrôs, Brecha Coletiva, LABORARTE, Viramundo entre outros. Foi aprovade na edição 2020/2021 dos Laboratórios de Criação do Porto Iracema das Artes (CE) com o projeto Lança de Cabocla. Com o projeto Assombros e Trincheiras teve aprovação na categoria criação do Panorama Raft, em coprodução com o Festival Panorama(RJ). Ume das artistas convidada a colaborar na Plataforma EhCHo edição 2021, plataforma de fomento e difusão internacional idealizada por Denise Ferreira da Silva e outros artistas e pesquisadores. Premiade melhor atriz em curta metragem no 49° Festival de Cinema de Gramado e em longa como melhor atriz coadjuvante no 43° Guarnicê de Cinema. Atualmente está participando do programa de bolsas de pesquisa e criação coreográfica do PACT ZOLVERREIN (ALE). Uma das artistas a participar das programações de centenário da Semana de Arte Moderna do SESC-SP, como Manifesta 22 na Encruzilhada e Festival Refestália. Convidade a fazer tutoria do projeto Repovoar imaginários sobre o amor, na edição 2021/2022 dos Laboratórios de Criação do Porto Iracema das Artes (CE). É licenciada em Teatro pela UFMA (MA), cursa o bacharelado em Dança e o mestrado em História Social na UFC (CE).

II Festival de Cenas Curtas Godô Virá - Melhor Dramaturgia; Melhor Direção - compartilhado com Abeju criadora da obra REC, a qual Tieta colaborou com dramaturgismo e direcionamentos;

493º Festival Guarnicê de Cinema - Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante de longa-metragem pelo filme Terminal Praia Grande, ficção de Mavi Simão (MA);

49º Festival de Cinema de Gramado - Melhor Atriz de curta metragem pelo filme Quanto Pesa de Breno Nina (MA);

Prêmio SATED/MA 2021 Prêmio de melhor Coreógrafa por Ancés, também indicado na categoria melhor espetáculo, junto de Lança Cabocla; Prêmio de melhor fotografia pela obra Lança Cabocla (obra coletiva).

About

Transdisciplinary artist, serpent's daughter, creator of scenic macumbarias and other spirals. Tieta Macau is interested in creation processes, afro-referenced scenic production, popular and Afro-diasporic poetics, art historiography, dance writing, among other crossroads. One of the creators of Coletivo DiBando, she works in collaboration with various artists and groups in Maranhão, Ceará and Bahia, such as Grupo Afrôs, Brecha Coletiva, LABORARTE, Viramundo and others. She was approved in the 2020/2021 edition of the Creation Laboratories of Porto Iracema das Artes (CE) with the project Lança de Cabocla. With the project Assombros e Trincheiras she was approved in the creation category of Panorama Raft, in co-production with Panorama Festival (RJ). One of the artists invited to collaborate in the Platform EhCHo 2021 edition, a platform for promotion and international diffusion idealized by Denise Ferreira da Silva and other artists and researchers. Awarded best actress in a short film at the 49th Gramado Film Festival and best supporting actress in a feature film at the 43rd Guarnicê de Cinema. Currently she is participating in the research and choreographic creation scholarship program of PACT ZOLVERREIN (ALE). One of the artists to participate in the programs for the centennial of the Modern Art Week at SESC-SP, such as Manifesta 22 at Encruzilhada and Festival Refestália. Invited to be a tutor for the project Repovoar imaginários sobre o amor (Repopulating imaginations about love), in the 2021/2022 edition of the Laboratórios de Criação at Porto Iracema das Artes (CE). She has a BA in Theater from UFMA (MA), is attending a bachelor's degree in Dance and a master's degree in Social History at UFC (CE).

49º Gramado Film Festival - Best Actress in a short film for the film Quanto Pesa by Breno Nina (MA);

SATED/MA 2021 Award - Best Choreographer for Ancés, also nominated in the best performance category, along with Lança Cabocla; Best Photography Award for the work Lança Cabocla (collective work);
